| Grate expectations as cheese comes of age
The figures back up Broome's contention that we are witnessing a sea-change in our attitudes towards cheese. According to marketing information consultants TNS, shoppers bought £62.6m of lesser-known regional and organic cheeses in the UK, compared with £52.8m in the previous year. And data from market analysts Mintel show that "territorial" cheeses, a term which includes mass-market UK regional cheeses as well as the smaller producers, rose from £160m in 2002 to £220m last year. The study also forecast that shoppers will continue buying more organic and specialist cheese and that they will want to know more details about where the cheese in their shopping basket has come from. "There has been a change in recent years," said celebrity chef Martin Wishart. "We find that about 60% of our diners do opt for cheese and that is more than you would have expected a few years ago.
Daytona 500: Hendrick vs. Gibbs
Joe Gibbs Racing has a two-time champion and two of the series' rising stars. How big is this Daytona 500 showdown? "It's going to be the epic battle, and it should be the battle of a lifetime and the century," Gibbs driver Tony Stewart quipped. "There may not be another battle of this proportion for the rest of my life, my career, for the century." OK, so Stewart was exaggerating. Still, when Hendrick driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Gibbs driver Denny Hamlin each won a qualifying race Thursday, it set the stage for a heck of a show Sunday. Oh by the way, Hendrick's overshadowed driver, Casey Mears, is starting ninth. That means six of the top nine spots will be filled by drivers from those two teams. Gibbs driver Kyle Busch will roll off from the 24th position.

Obama wins Louisiana Democratic primary
George W. only held office for 6 years as Governor of Texas before being elected president. Obama has a longer public service record than either of these two, yet no one questioned their experience. The president will be a team builder, manager and policy maker. Honestly, who has shown the best ability to perfrom these tasks than Obama thus far. Look at the numbers he is putting up and the funds he is raising. Hillary's campaign should run out of steam within the next few months if not sooner. She is loaning money to her campaign and has maxed out from her contributors, only to be trumped by the sums Obama has received. She has no room to grow for fundraising. .
